Meet Our Trainer Isiah Gault: A Life of Service, Precision, and Tactical Excellence

Updated: Sep 4

Isiah Gault is a name synonymous with excellence, discipline, and dedication. A Retired U.S. Army Combat Engineer and seasoned Law Enforcement Officer, Gault brings over two decades of elite tactical and operational experience to the frontlines of safety and preparedness. Now serving as a Long-Range Weapons Trainer and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, Gault continues to serve, this time equipping others with the skills and mindset needed to protect and defend. Certified ALERRT Instructor.

From the Battlefield to the Streets

Isiah began his career in the U.S. Army, where he served four years as a Combat Engineer with a specialization in explosives. He successfully completed the rigorous Sapper Leader Course, earning a reputation early on for his work ethic and tactical skill. As an entry man, Gault honed his breaching techniques and close-quarters tactics, dedicating himself to being the best engineer and teammate possible in high-stress, high-risk environments.

A Distinguished Law Enforcement Career

After completing his military service, Gault transitioned into law enforcement, where he built a distinguished 15-year career. Starting as a patrol officer, his natural leadership and sharp instincts stood out immediately. His talents led him to a specialized role as a Gang Detective, where he worked tirelessly to dismantle organized crime and protect local communities.

His path eventually led to a coveted position on the SWAT team, where he served as a sniper, an evolution that aligned perfectly with his early military training and his exceptional marksmanship. (Gault was awarded the Marksmanship Award in the police academy, a testament to his steady hand and precise eye.)

In the later stages of his career, Gault took on a mentorship role as a Recruit training Officer (RTO), helping shape the next generation of law enforcement professionals. His leadership and dedication earned him another honor: becoming a K9 Officer. Alongside his trusted partner, Major, the duo patrolled the streets as a reliable and respected team.

Unmatched Experience. Relentless Dedication.

Across both military and law enforcement roles, Isiah Gault has consistently operated at the highest level. His breadth of tactical knowledge, from explosive entry and sniper techniques to gang interdiction and canine handling, is unmatched. What sets him apart, however, is not just his resume, but his relentless pursuit of excellence and his deep commitment to the people he serves.

Now, as part of the elite team at Paidion Shield, Gault brings his expertise to schools, organizations, and individuals seeking real-world training from real-world professionals. Whether it’s long-range weapons training, SWAT-level tactics, or conditioning under pressure, Gault’s instruction reflects years of hands-on experience in the field.
