Service Description

This two-day course provides a structured, scenario-driven approach to responding effectively during and after a critical incident such as an active threat, mass casualty event, or large-scale emergency. Designed for both civilians and professionals, this training focuses on the essential phases of crisis response: Stop the Killing, Stop the Dying, and Stabilize the Scene. Participants will learn how to take immediate life-saving actions, integrate into a rapidly evolving scene, and initiate structure through the Incident Command System (ICS). Emphasis is placed on clear communication, establishing roles, and coordinating efforts to reduce chaos and confusion during high-stress events. Key components include: Immediate threat mitigation: response to active threats or violence Tactical medical intervention: bleeding control, casualty movement, triage Establishing ICS: defining leadership, sectors, and communication flow Reunification planning: managing survivors, family members, and media Scene management: securing, organizing, and transitioning to formal responders Post-incident considerations: documentation, accountability, and debriefing This course blends classroom instruction with dynamic, scenario-based training to reinforce rapid decision-making, calm leadership, and organized action. This course meets the standards and objectives of the State-Mandated Level 1 Emergency Response Training.


Cancellation Policy

1. Registration & Payment o Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot in the class. o Class sizes are limited to ensure a high-quality training experience. 2. Cancellations & Refunds o Cancellations made 11 or more days before the scheduled class date are eligible for a full refund or transfer to a future class (subject to availability). o Cancellations made within 10 days of the class are non-refundable, as resources and planning are finalized during this period. o No-shows or same-day cancellations are not eligible for a refund or credit. 3. Class Transfers o Requests to transfer to a different class date must be made at least 11 days in advance. Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. 4. Instructor Cancellations o In the rare event that a class must be canceled or rescheduled by the instructors, participants will be given the option of a full refund or a transfer to a future class date. 5. Participant Requirements o All participants must meet the class prerequisites, follow safety protocols, and sign a liability waiver prior to training. o Failure to comply with safety standards or instructor direction may result in removal from the class without a refund.
